Hello Everyone, This is KDT and today we’re gonna be discussing about the most awaited laptop which is enbled with 5G technology. It is also the world’s first 5G laptop.
The Laptop is Lenovo Flex.
Lenovo has officialy announced the 5G laptop with the Flex 5G, which will be released on June 18th for $1,399.99 US Dollars as the world’s first 5G laptop.
It was announced back at the CES 2020 ,the Flex 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8CX processor. It was one of the first available Laptops with Qualcomm’s latest laptop chipset. Lenovo says that the 8cx will lead to big battery life in a single charge.
The convertible 2 in 1 laptop is the world’s first 5G Device available according to Lenovo. The Lenovo Flex 5G is also known as the Lenovo Yoga in some markets and will be available in several regions around the world.
This laptop supports both millimeter wave full-band and sub-6GHz 5G networks, including High Spped ConnectivityIt’s the first laptop powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G processor. Lenovo states that the efficiency of the Snapdragon 8cx 5G chipset will last upto 24 hours of battery life.
The Lenovo Flex 5G is only launching on Verizon, (A American Telecommunication Company.) Though, it’ll only be able to take advantage of the mmWave side of the spectrum. it’s currently only available in parts of 35 cities and the poor ability of mmWave to pass through walls and into buildings.
The Lenovo Flex 5G appears similar to the rest of Lenovo’s Yoga lineup. It consists of a 14-inch display that can wrap around 360 degrees to be used as a tablet. It can also be used in tent or display mode in addition to being used as just a Laptop.
Lenovo too anounced that the Flex 5G won’t be limited to Verizon forever. Lenovo is partnering with EE in the UK, Sunrise in Switzerland, and CMCC in China for additional launches later this year.
 It is Available on June 18th for $1,399.99 as a Verizon exclusive. Soon will be released in other countries.
